A smaller cousin of the Borg Cube, the Sphere has always been considered an auxiliary ship, used mostly for scouting operations or a quick escape. And yet, underestimating its capabilities has been a grave mistake of many brazen and careless captains. This Sphere is, however, not like the others. After the Borg Queen successfully prevented First Contact and changed the past, she ordered her drones to gather every remnant of the Borg Sphere and return it to its former glory. The vessel that brought her to victory was meant to lead the way into new territories, equipped with an interdimensional drive based on Lily Sloane’s ideas. The Sphere should have been a herald of unending assimilation through time and space... until it was stolen by Data. Now, three centuries later, it has become a weapon to strike down the forces of the Borg Collective, aimed at preventing them from invading the dimensions beyond their own, and bringing an end to their hive mind supremacy.
